September 2011: Cycle the Pacific Coast Route, Vancouver to San Diego

1987 miles over roughly a two-month period via Vancouver Island, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Disneyland.

Arrival in Vancouver

Landed, bike boxes et al, in Canada: three days of rest and Armerding hospitality.

32 Days to Go: In an attempt to ramp up the training miles, we decided to head to the newly opened Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield using the National Cycle Route 67. The route is very poorly signposted and, as you can see from the map above, we got lost and ended up on the outskirts…
