Riding out of Butte, MT
The town of Butte grew up around the local mine. Workers arrived from around the world, including many from Cornwall. They brought with them the cornish pasty. We picked up a couple of these local delicasies as we left Butte and they proved to be not only a reasonably good traditional pasty, but a terrific lunch for some hungry cyclists as we crossed the Continental Divide for yhe sixth time.
